My take on the brouhaha generated by the president sallah message to
nigerians, is that I personally didn't have problem with that, but you
are free to have problem with that if you don't understand hausa.
I'm among those advocating for our leaders to use our local language to
communicate to their followers, especially the legislators, because I
see no reason why they use our local language to campaign because they
knew that the electorate will not understand them if they use English to
campaign, but use English in the chamber to speak for the people that
do not understand English, which explain why the electorate only rate
their representative base on constituency project and other financial
assistance, not base on the bills and grammar they are speaking in the
chambers.
99percent of those criticizing the president for using
hausa are just been mischievous, not that they do not understand the
message. I am very sure that even if the president use English, they
would have still complain that he sound sickly or he should have use
video instead of audio broadcast. And we should not forget that hausa is
the third most spoken in Africa and most spoken language in Nigeria,
which means that most nigerians will understand his message better in
hausa than in English.
Don't also forget that the message was a
sallah message and 95percent of those celebrating sallah understand
hausa, while 95percent of those complaining about the message are not
even celebrating the sallah from the first place (In ba karambani ba ina
ruwan biri da gada) u can interpret this proverb, but you have problem
with Mr President speaking in hausa, my brother demons pursue you from
your village? Our major problem is that we give too mush enfacise to
English language than our local language as if we were the only country
that was colonize by the British.
Come to think of it, what is
your problem with the message? Is it because that you are celebrating
sallah and you couldn't understand his message in hausa or you just
value foreign language than hausa? If you prefer foreign language than
hausa, I'm sure you will prefer a foreigner than your hausa brother. And
if you have problem with the message because you do not understand
hausa, please look for interpreter.
My point is that the president
make the broadcast in good faith, but those that always want to find
fault in him, make sure they generate controversy in his sallah message.
Hausa man said, even if you land inside water, those that want to find
fault in you will accuse you for raising dust at them. May God bless

My dear northern
governors,
Here are some
advice and solution that is of necessity at this trying and challenging moment
in the history of our country Nigeria.
The Kaduna
declaration by some northern youth group might be right or wrong, but one good
thing about the declaration is that it revealed some information that people
like me are not even aware of, e.g. it was after the declaration that I knew
the huge amount of investment that the igbos invested in the north, because the
northern igbo leaders have revealed how they invested more than 44trillion
naira into Arewa economy.
Investment of 44trillion can generate a
minimum of 2trillion naira annually to the 19 northern states, if you share
2trillion among the 19 northern states, each state would get nothing less than
100billion annually, which would be far much more than what each state is
getting from the federation account.
A state like Kaduna
that should be second or third among top ten northern states with igbo
investment, should be able to generate nothing less than 250billion naira
annually, from igbos investment. And I think it will be better for northern
states governors to start thinking on how they can cash into this revelation by
northern igbo leaders, restructure their revenue generating agencies for more
effective revenue generation than just ordering for the arrest of youth group
that make the Kaduna declaration.
Northern states can
generate much more revenue from southerner’s investment in the north, if they
move step further and practice what I call discriminatory TAX collection, where
the southerners should be paying 50percent more than what an average northerner
should be paying. Don’t say it will be injustice to the southerners if such
method should be adopted, because I do not think you will be happy if you were
in my shoe, where as a northerner, living as a tenant in an igbo man house here
in Kaduna and precisely Tudu nufawa, the igbo landlord decide to increase my
rent by 25percent, while the rest of my co tenant that are igbos were not
affected by the increase in rent, how will you feel if such discrimination is
been carried out against you? If an igbo man can come to the north, build house,
discriminate between his tenant, make a northerner to pay more than what the
rest of the igbos pays in the same building, why should it be a big deal if
northern governors decide to discriminate in favor of northerners in TAX
collection?
If our northern
governors can utilize the potentials in the southerner’s investment across the
northern region, no any southerners will ever call northerners parasite. They will never advocate for any
disintegration, because the north would have been far more richer than it is
today. They say if snake no do wetin mekam become snake small children go use
him as rope. We have greater potentials than the south, but unfortunately for
us, our leaders are playing politics with our potentials, as in the case of
this Kaduna declaration of a thing. Northern governors action against the youth
that gave the igbos quit notice is not that bad, but it will be too bad if they
fail to see the positive side of the declaration and utilize the potentials in
igbos investment of 44trillion to develop the north. Ahmad Sardaunan Ina dalili

The conspirasy continue
Blockade on Qatar is a conspiracy to replicate what was done to Libya,
Iraq, Syria, Yemen with a view to ignite a war between Saudia and Iran
for the final stage of the Magna Carta to weaken the countries
surrounding the State of Israel to kill the proposed 2 State-solution
for Israel and occupied Palestine based on 1967 borders to live in
peace, then lay hands on the abundant resources of the Gulf countries
since the West are still licking their wounds since their misadventure
in Afghanistan and Iraq. Consequently the leadership the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia( KSA) should contemplate lifting the ban particularly on
Food, Medicine and other life threatening essential commodities. No
matter how deep a quarrel is, humanity related matters are excluded from
politics. Therefore, it is urgent for some non aligned countries from
Africa, Latin America, humanitarian organisations or even China be
permitted to step-into the matter to quickly solve it. Otherwise, such a
Crack may lead to tremendous repercussions in the Gulf region and their
various organisations such as Gulf States (GCC), the Arab League and
the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) which includes non Arab
countries like Turkey and Iran. Humanity must not be politicised This
if not swifty checked will affect the Leadership role of the Kingdom of
Saudi Kingdom. Let me give some likely intelligence/conspiracy theories
to start a war between Saudia and Iran so as to weaken them on behalf of
Israel, control their companies and resources, forcefully sell of arms
to them, clear their foreign reserves and infiltrate and dismantle the
holy lands of Makkah and Madina with another category of insurgency. May
Allah forbid such thing. In a conspiracy, a proxy war may be created by
one of the big double playing allies of the Saudi Kingdom the way a war
was previously ignited between Iran and Iraq. To trick them , they can
use technology or mobilise special forces to attack or tinker with
Saudi interests or her embassy in any country or even hire mercenaries
to do it internally as recently carried out in Teheran with a swift
Intelligence report from a treacherous ally indicating that professional
bombers are hired to destabilise Saudi Arabia, or as a retaliation,
they would give them the needed support to teach the assailants a lesson
of their life. Thus, tension will definitely rise in the region. We
pray Allah ( SWT) to prevent such a crisis from happening. I recommend
that it is high time for the Monarchs to separate their Palace from
religious affairs particularly on Hajj and Umrah matters by establishing
an independent Commission possibly with Muftis drawn from other
countries to run it as well as give fatawa on emerging or trending
issues in future or so as to neutralise possible evil plan to pitch the
Kingdom of Saudia against Qatar, Yemen or even the Iran that is feared
by the west for fear of unknown just like North Korea. Therefore, (God
forbid) if such a thing occurs in Saudia, Qatar, Yemen or Iran, they
must not rush to draw conclusion prior to thorough investigations.

Wake up call to Northerners By Mahmoon Baba-Ahmed
The Northern Elders Forum, NEF has been applauded for its staunch support to the order given by the four northern youth groups to Igbos living in the North to relocate to the so-called Republic of Biafra in accordance with their spirit of self-determination. Many politicians of eastern extraction and some state governors had earlier openly criticized the action of the youths, describing it as callous and provocative, capable of plunging the country into chaos and disorder.
But the NEF had for the first time came out openly in support of that
move, condemning the governors and other critics of double standards and
hypocrisy, choosing always to condemn actions they view from a prism of
tribalism as they overlook the excesses or depravities of their
kinsmen. Prior to this, northerners have consistently reproached their
leaders for complacency and inaction when the interests of their region
are being trampled upon and their people persecuted unnecessarily. For
this singular action the Northern Elders Forum is being complimented by
all and sundry as they had this time around came up appropriately for
the defense of their followers.
This is because those in power or at the helms of affairs in the North have previously been pandering to the whims and caprices of southern politicians that set them up as veritable tools for the subjugation of their fellow citizens. Their preoccupation was mainly how to distract and detract the northerners from the course upon which they will realistically attain the actualization of their varied interests. After their people have been done with they will then shed crocodile tears, lamenting the calamities that visited those that had suffered the humiliating loss of their rights and privileges.
That was the lot of Northern leaders. Even military rulers of Northern extraction that succeeded the founding fathers of Nigeria have been variably accused of gross inaction and complacency in developing the vast Northern Region which had obviously struggled to catch up with its three counterparts in the First Republic. The same bunch of people, after bowing out of power, consorted with the southern political elements that had for long been plotting the downfall of what they derogatory referred to as giant North. That was what gave impetus to the politics of tribalism which consequently gave rise to undue nepotism and excessive favoritism.
Subsequently, a detestable dimension of religious bigotry was added to the whole affair making it possible to polarize the North along reprehensible divides. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back and since then the Northern community which hitherto enjoys relative calm, fortified by strong bonds of unity and pervading fraternity, progressively exploded into a huge ball of threatening conflagration, aided by the influx of peoples from other regions and their undue influences.
That sorry state of affairs did not come perchance; it was carefully meditated to create more divisions and cleavages among the peoples bounded by a common destiny in their struggle to emancipate themselves from the shackles of their political detractors from the south. Whenever there seems to be a light at the end of their dark tunnel their unpatriotic and self-seeking leaders will provide an effective obstruction that will seal off their chance of achieving the grand objective.
That’s exactly what is obtaining now with the so-called northern leaders unable to unite and give solid economic and other necessary supports to their people who were totally unprotected from the domination of southern interlopers. Instead, they extend clandestine and covert support to people other than their kinsmen and during elections they overtly cohort with opposition politicians other than the ones wholly shored up by their people.
The purpose of these noxious northern leaders in turning away from their people is to principally deny them utilizing their numerical superiority to elect a president from the region that has the majority. That was what obtained in 1999 when the so-called leaders connived to foist on the northerners, and the nation at large, two southern presidential candidates belonging to the same ethnic stock, thus thwarting the possibility of the emergence of a more credible and acceptable candidate from the North. In the same vein, the Northern establishment conspired to throw up a defective candidate, in the previous elections, a wishy-washy contraption from their weird political machinery that was easily defeated by the secretly anointed candidate. Needless to say, the North lost out when they deliberately refused to throw their weights behind the most popular candidate hankered persistently by a majority of Northerners.
The struggle for capacity building and economic emancipation of northerners from the domination of southerners had been suffering a serious setback since they had failed to get their acts together by closing their ranks and acting in unison. Unless and until those that do not wish them exit the region they could hardly ever get their hopes fulfilled. The youths quit order to the Igbos is a wake up call to northerners that crave for rapid transformation of the region to actively support its indigenization by giving the northerners the reins of economic and political power.

may God help nigeria
From Dr John Danfulani.
To,
Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-rufai
The Governor of Kaduna State,
Sir Kashim Ibrahim House Kaduna.
Sir,
PROVE YOUR IMPARTIALITY BY ARRESTING AND PROSECUTING THE MISCREANTS AND PROF ANGO ABDULLAHI WITHOUT DELAY
On 6th June 2017 a Coalition of Northern Nigeria Youth Groups met in Arewa House Kaduna and reeled an illegal, morally bankrupt and politically suicidal ultimatum directing Ndigbos living in Northern Nigeria to relocate to their states of origin. They promised dire consequences for any Ndigbo that ignore their deadly directive.
On Wednesday the 7th of June 2017 you repudiated and nullified their 6th June 2017 ultimatum. And directed security agencies to trail, nap and prosecute them for using Kaduna State as an assembly plan and launching pad of their felonious project. Your position was fully supported by other northern governors.
A day after your rebuttal, arrest, and prosecute directive, the miscreants and apostles of doom resurfaced and reinforced their 6th June 2017 position. And unabashedly lambasted you and your other colleagues that distanced themselves and their people from their doomsday ultimatum.
As all men and women of pure conscience, goodwill, and peace were condemning the infamous quit notice to Ndigbos, on Friday 9th June 2017,Prof Ango Abdullahi,a Village Head in Zazzau Emirate of Kaduna State- a veteran nepotist, a first class irredentist,a regional warlord, and a confused ethnic-supremacist, used the platform of Northern Elders Forum(NEF) and supported the evangelists of destruction of peace and unity of Nigeria.
After Prof Ango Abdullahi's unwarranted gibberish, the Secretary General of NEF Dr. Paul Unongo distilled the air by asserting in unambiguous terms that; the gerontocratic regional champion and ethnic-supremacist has no mandate to speak for their group. From Dr.Unongo's statement, there is no second guessing that the District Head didn't speak on behalf of the conclave of self anointed northern Nigeria elders.
Dr. Unongo's declaration suggests that Prof Abdullahi is an imposter that illegally used the platform of esteemed club of NEF to support a felonious and morally bankrupt ultimatum. Therefore, Prof Abdullahi is their comrade-in-crime, his name must be included in the list of those to face arrest and prosecution. And the old Prof should be in the net with immediate alacrity.
After reading your resolved of 7th June 2017 we wrote a commendation letter to you and encouraged you to walk your talk to deter others nursing the ambition of hatching events that will trigger another civil war in Nigeria. Since then, we have glued our eyes to news bars and pay attention to electronic media without hearing the news of any arrest, let alone prosecution of these jackals of disunity.
Effecting arrest of these people shouldn't be a Herculean task, for obvious reasons. First, somebody with a specific address applied for the venue of the event. Second, somebody approved and received payment for the usage of the venue.Third, somebody gave somebody the key to the venue of their meeting. Four, the same process unfolded when they addressed another press conference that reinforced their earlier position. Some radio and television stations even conducted interviews with them via the telephone. With these multiple leads and footprints, arresting them should be a matter of minutes or hours not days. Thus, we are struggling to know why they are still walking free.
Mr. Governor, we are entertaining this fear because of what happened in the cases of Audu Maikori/Luka Biniyet ( in February of 2017) and Alh Haruna Usman versus Nigeria Army (in March of 2017). These two incidences border conscious or unconscious making of statements that were not anchored on realism on ground. Despite similarities of these incidences, you disgracefully cum selectively acted on Audu/Biniyat's case and deliberately looked the other way on Miyatti Allah versus Nigeria Army's case. No special wisdom is needed to know why you adopted two dispositions on cases with similar ingredients. Ethno-religious sentiment guided your decisions, period.
Similarly, you went on a live Television programme (Hardcopy Channels TV) and tagged the leadership of Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) an umbrella organization of all Southern Kaduna ethnic groups bigots because of their loud cries against the semi-genocide perpetrated by a Fulani Militia you openly accepted communing and compensating in foreign climes. The same you wore a deaf ear when Miyyati Allah and their kingpins acknowledged masterminding killings in some villages of Southern Kaduna. You refused to use your power of idioms and phrases coinage to reel-out a judgement on them.
It is clear from these cases that, you are practicing a specie of apartheid system in Kaduna. A political setting where ones ethnicity and religion determines which right he/she enjoys. No wonder all the people you have thus far arrested and persecuted pillared on your shallow intellectual definition of hate speech, bigotry and fanatism, are all Christians and mostly people from Southern Kaduna. This is illegal and morally debasing because you took an oath on 29th May 2015 to treat all manner of persons equal as engraved in our 1999 constitution( as amended).
You can not Make Kaduna Great Again by institutionalizing an apartheid system in a democratic clime. And by suppressing, repressing, crudely subjugating and maltreating people who don't share your faith or exploitative elitist political ideology.
History and posterity shall never be kind to you. Don't ever lose sight of the fact that the wicked goddess of vengeance has a long memory that never forgive nor forget. Kindly keep in mind that you must account (in local and international courts) for most of these heinous acts when your tenure and immunity expires by 10am of 29th May 2019.

exaggirating achievement in agricultural policies
As it was in the beginning, FG told us how they make 15,000 farmers
millionaires through agricultural anchor borrowing program, but have to come
back and tell nigerians that they are finding it difficult to recover
the money loaned to the farmers.
Same government told us that most of intending pilgrims in 2017 are farmers, because the government have make more millionaire farmers through its agricultural policies.
Is it the money that government gave the farmers that make them millionaires or increase in food production?
Why is it difficult for government to recover their money from the farmers, when they have it in record that the farmers are now millionaires and majority of intending pilgrims? Or does that relate to increase in hajj fair, so as to indirectly recover their money? As be say majority of the intending pilgrims are farmers. If that's the case, I advice the government to identify farmers that failed to pay back their loans, but paid for hajj, so as to recover their money by subtracting from what the farmers paid for hajj.
As for farmers that couldn't complete their hajj payment due to recent hike, I advice them to collect back their money from hajj commission, pay back their debt and invest the in this year farming season.
Report reaching me have it that some farmers that started paying for hajj, could no longer afford to pay or complete their payment due to recent hike in hajj fees.
The truth is that government over exaggerate their success in agricultural sector, while the farmers also exaggerate their success in food production and gains. Any farmer that failed to pay back what he borrowed from government, but pay for hajj, he is living a fake life and not cutting his coat according to his size, but exaggerating his achievement. Please pay back our money, before paying for hajj fees. Both the farmers and the government are wallowing in deception.
