The government are telling us about their effort that lead to the so called bumper harvest, but they fail to put some factors into consideration, the following are the factors that lead to high cost of food, despite the so called bumper harvest;
Clashes between farmers and herdsmen have affected farming activities in north central, arms bandits in north west and boko haram crisis in the north eastern state.
Fertilizer was sold to farmers at the highest rate ever in the history of Nigeria, while government only succeeded in supporting less than one percent of Nigerian farmers.
Lets assume there was bumper harvest as claim by the government, don't you know that Nigerian population must have increase in greater percentage than the production increase in the last farming season? our major problem is that we never put our growing population into consideration, that's why the government could be talking of increase in production without realizing the fact that there is also an increase in population, and that explain why food price is currently at a record high in the history of Nigeria.
The government keep telling us about rice production in kebbi, jigawa and niger state, but the fact is that those farmers can only do little or nothing about the increase in food prices, if the government fail to provide lasting solution to the above mention challenges that limit food production in other part of the country especially the north central and north east.
In general, we have low food production this 2016 farming season compare to previous season, when you consider the rise in population (consumers), high cost of fertilizer, flooding, clashes between farmers and herdsmen that make farming activities impossible in some areas and lack of investment by the government.
Talking about investment, how can government that invest only less than two percent of annual national budget claim to have develop agriculture, when Maputo declaration approve 16percent of annual budget to agriculture? only 92billion have been budgeted in 2017 budget, which is less than 3percent of the total budget, and we talk of diversification to agriculture, when we spent trillions importing agricultural product, we want to use 92billion naira to feed 180million and even export, how possible could that be? base on my calculation, we budget 500milliom naira for 1million Nigerians as far as agricultural budget is concern, and 500million naira is equal to 1.2million dollars for 1million Nigerians, while the government budget 1.7billon naira for Aso Villa food in 2016 budget, which is almost 4million dollars, and you want to feed 1million nigerians with 1.2million dollars, how could that be possible? we should stop all the rhetoric about developing or diversifying to agriculture and face the reality, by investing the right allocation to agriculture and give it the needed attention. may God bless Nigeria

How war on corruption is affecting nigerian economy
Corruption have contributed in limiting nigerian development, but the way is been fought by this administration is doing more harm than good. fighting corruption by freezing people money in the bank without first investigatin to know how they get the money, but freezing the money before investigating or interogating the owner on how he get the money, is harming the financial sectors and discouraging nigerians from depositing their money in the bank.why purnishing a whole bank and their share holders just because somebody deposited stolen or suspected stolen funds? the manager or the banker that did such illegal transaction should be the person to be purnish, not the bank, even if its the CEO of the financial institution.
Why sealing the property of corrupt suspect, when you have properties deficit? why not wait until he or she was proving guilty before you seize, sell, rent or convert the property to government institution or residence for government official.
My sugestion to this government after their swearing in, is to first reform the judiciary, because without reforming the judiciary, they would waste their valuable time chasing shadows, becouse we have so many corruption case that have not been completed for morethan ten years and still counting. without reforming the judiciary, they might complete their tenure with little to show on conviction and recovery of stolen fund, which is what is currently happening, because the executive have been froustrated by the judiciary, which lead them to unconstitutional manner of arresting judges.
My second suggestion is for the government to concentrate on the moneys that was taking outside the country, not the money that was invested into the economy, because going after moneys that was invested into the nigerian economy would surely affect the economy as its currently happening. depositing corrupt money in nigerian banks help in developing the financial sector, investing corrupt money in Hotels and recreation centres help in developing the tourism sector, investing corrupt money in real estate help in developing the property, construction sectors and reduce housing deficit, investing corrupt money in agriculture help in developing the agricultural sector, etc.
Unfortunately for nigerians, the government have decided to go after suspected corrupt money that was invested into nigerian economy, instead of forcussing on how to recover billions of dollars that was invested into foreign financial institutions and properties, thereby destroying our economy in the name of fighting corruption and allowing much of the illicit fund in foreign institution. that explain why the government was not able to recover much money as expected.
I think this corruption war that is not been prosecuted with wisdom, is doing more harm to Nigerian economy than the crash of crude oil in the international market. if we can not eradicate corruption, i think we can begin to encourage our corrupt official to at least invest the money into Nigerian economy than taking it outside Nigeria. is not that Nigeria is more corrupt than Indonesia, but the fact is that our officials invest much of the corrupt money outside the country than any other country with potentials like ours.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

Between Nigerian executive and the Legislative, which is the better DEVIL?
The executive first padded the 2016 budget, later withdraw it, the legislative carelessly allow the budget to be stolen, and it become a missing budget, they later found it, but it become two different budget, the original and the padded one. they reject the padded budget and use the original, but they themselves later padded the original budget, which make the executive to reject the padded budget, but they later negotiate and sign the budget, even as Nigerians later discover that the president have sign a padded budget, as disclose by the person that knows better, the former chairman of appropriation committee.
Now to the issue of car purchase, the senate bought some vehices at the cost of 35million naira each, the executive also awarded a contract of 3.5billion, to supply nigerian prison service with 320 vehicles that cost more than 11million each. the executive later awarded another contract of morethan 370milliom naira, for the supply of 38 vehicles to the ministry of solid minerals, which would cost about 10million naira each. the house of representative also awarded a contract for the supply of vehicles for its members, at the cost of more than 3billion naira, which cost less than 10million for each vehicles.
Is this compatition in vehicles purchase between the executive and legislative neccessary at this time of recession? why are nigerians so hypocritical about the purchase of vehicles by the legislators and turning a blind eye to the vehicle purchase by the executive? the executive spent almost 4billion naira to purchase vehicle for only two ministries, howmuch would they end up spending for the rest of the ministries? and dont forget that nigerian prison is just one department in the ministry of interior.
My opinion is that both the executive and the legislators did not mean well for Nigerians, for wasting scars resources to purchase vehicles that are not necessary at this critical moment. It only take a hypocrite to condemn the purchase of vehicles by the legislators, while he sees nothing wrong with executives vehicle purchase. may God bless Nigeria.

WHICH IS THE BETTER DEVIL REPUBLICANS OR DEMOCRATS
Bush republican party was responsible for spear heading the war on Afghanistan and Iraq, while Obama democrat contribute to change of government across Arab world, which lead to the creation of ISIS and other terrorist group in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Mali and even Nigeria.
I think the Arab world experience more lost of lives and properties under Obama democrats than it experience under Bush republican party.

LATEST POLL; TRUMP AHEAD OF CLINTON
The latest online opinion poll coming to us from the US, have shown that Trump is bouncing back ahead of Clinton, no thanks to the email scandal that is becoming more challenging to Clinton campaign organization.
ONDO STATE PDP CRISIS SOLUTION
The posible solution to PDP crisis in Ondo state, is for the two party to continue campaigning for PDP, becouse if the allow the crisis to affect PDP chances of winning the election, there might be nothing for them to fight over again. most importantly is the candidate that was replace by INEC due to court order, he should take advantage of the situation instead of allowing INEC decission to discourage him.
He should allowed Jimoh Ibrahim to continue campaigning for people vote, while he on the other side can continue to campaign for the party, by encouraging his supporters to vote for PDP in the forthcoming election. I do not think anyone can stop him from campaigning for PDP as long as he did not ask people to vote for him, but the party, becouse he have every right to campaign for PDP.
He should not even think of anti party if he really want to be the governor, becouse he will loose everything if APC win the election, but he have a great chance of becoming the governor if his party the PDP win the election. Jimoh Ibrahim might endup helping him to win the election or he helping Jimoh Ibrahim to win the election, but I think Jegede have more chances of winning the case in the court than Jimoh Ibrahim.
i think INEC decision is good for JEGEDE, because jimoh would have do everything within his power to make sure that PDP lose the election to APC if he was the one that was substituted, but he will now have to campaign for PDP, while the superior court decide on who should have been the candidate, Jegede or Jimoh.
Gegede and Jimoh case is like that of the two prostitute that was judge by king Solomon, the person that knew he was not suppose to be the candidate would not mind if PDP lose the election, but the person that knew he suppose to be the candidate would makesure that PDP win the election even if his name was not with INEC, because he is after the success of his party. ONLY THE WISE UNDERSTAND WISDOM.

MY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH APC GOVERNMENT
Disappointed with APC failure to build a strong party, but succeeded in building strong individuals. disappointed with the fact that APC waste valuable time before appointing ministers, but end up appointing less quality ministers that lack the ability to perform. disappointed with how APC government fail to fulfil most of their specific campaign promise such as one million houses annually, three million jobs annually, primary school free feeding program, 5000 naira social welfare scheme, etc.
am also disappointed on the budget allocation to agricultural sector, which is less than 2percent of 2016 total budget, disappointed with the appointment so far in the critical sector of the economy, disappointed with the attention given to the health sector, disappointed with how they fail to take responsibility, but continue to blame pass administration.
am disappointed with the fact that polio resurface again after all the success been recorded by PDP in eradicating the disease. dough APC want us to believe that the resurface of polio is as the result of the fact that those people have been under boko haram and that was the reason why polio resurface in Borno state, but the question is that why new polio case was not recorded under PDP when almost 24 local government are under boko haram, until now that APC have claim to have recaptured all territories under boko haram? I guarantee you that polio will surely resurface in community that have nothing to do with boko haram, due to APC failure to invest in the health sector. Lassa fever killed more people in 15month of APC than in 5years of PDP, very disappointing.
Dough we can not say that APC have failed completely because they have more years ahead, but they have disappointed in many aspect as mention above. GOD HELP NIGERIA.

PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND THE ECONOMY
Nigeria have been facing three major challenges that have to do with unemployment, security and the economy. previous administrations have tried to overcome such challenges, but the more effort they put, the more difficult it become.
one of the reason why Nigerian government fail in solving or taming the challenge of economy, insecurity and unemployment, is the failure to realize that they can not overcome one or two without the other. economy growth that doesn't provide job is meaningless, fighting insecurity without economy growth is meaningless, concentrating on economy without managing insecurity is also meaningless. for any government to succeed in overcoming this three challenges, they must concentrate on the three challenges at the same time.
what we have in Nigeria is a situation where the previous and current government concentrate on one of the challenges and have less concern about the other challenges. case study is how the previous government was able to manage economy growth that provide less job, which contribute to high rate of unemployment despite economy growth and was unable to manage the insecurity in the country. the previous government succeeded in making Nigeria one of the most fastest growing economy, but failed in managing the high rate of unemployment and security.
The government of president Muhammadu Buhari is also making the same mistake, by concentrating on security while the economy and unemployment are not getting the needed attention. the president believe he can tackle the issue of insecurity before concentrating on the other challenges, but the fact is that he would failed just as previous government failed as stated above, this three challenges need to be taken headlong, not one after the other, because you can not assume to overcome insecurity when your economy is doing bad and unemployment is becoming more precarious.
Just as previous government failed in area of security because he was not lucky to have the best persons to advice and manage Nigeria security despite declaring state of emergency for about three times, this current administration might end up failing in the area of economy and unemployment, because they lack the capacity and intellectualism to manage the economy. we have a situation where we have the right people in Jonathan administration managing the economy and having the wrong people managing the security, we now have the right people managing security and wrong people managing economy in president Muhammadu buhari government.
The solution is to concentrate on the three major challenges at the same time, have the right people to manage it and invest the needed resource in security, economy and unemployment, because the mismanagement in one affect the other. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. @ahmaddacholom.

JUDGES AND CORRUPTION
There is no doubt about the fact that some of our judges are corrupt, but the motive behind the raid and arrest of some judges is what concern many Nigerians. why should DSS carried out such raid without recording all their activities in such special assignment? if they do, what is restricting them from broadcasting it to nigerians, so that nigerians can see and believe all that they have said?
we have 5 to 7 judges of the supreme court, how can two judges of the supreme court manipulate or sell out judgement without the consent of their colleague? most of the cases that was concluded by the supreme court was a unanimous decisions, in that case, its impossible for one or two judges to be accuse of collecting bribe, while the rest were not included.
Nigerians might be tempted to believe the judge that is relating his arrest to a vendetta, because he should not be the only person to be arrested or accuse of selling out judgement, the rest should be arrested as well, and when that happen, the government would have succeeded in bringing down the judiciary. and if the executive succeeded in bringing the judiciary to disrepute, who would judge the politicians that were been prosecuted for corruption?
And for the minister of transport Rotimi Ameachi, he have to be investigated for attempting to bribe a judge to give judgement in his favor. dough some people ask why should the judge acuse Ameachi now that he was arrested, but same people clap hands and celeberate the way Dasuki was mentioning names after he was arrest. mentioning names before or after a judge was arrested doesnt matter for now, but what matters is whether Rotimi Ameachi actually visit the judge to ask for favourable judgement.
It would not be good for Nigeria if the war on corruption in the judiciary is aimed at fighting judges that are seen to be against the current administration, because it would have to take another government to savage Nigeria from corruption. war against corruption most not be corrupted to serve the interest of few individuals, because from the way is been fought, some Nigerians are beginning to loose confident on government ability to fight the war with fare and justice. President Buhari most not allow the war on corruption to be corrupted. may Allah bless Nigeria.

THE POSITIVE SIDE OF PDP AND NEGATIVE PART OF APC
The APC lead administration have accuse PDP of destroying Nigeria in 16years, but what I fail to understand is that, how can a party that is been accuse of destroying Nigeria for 16years was able to produce more millionaires than a party that is claiming to build what PDP destroyed?
Before PDP comes to power in 1999, Nigeria population is little above 100 milion, it rise to 140million according to 2006 census and by 2015 nigerin population have reach 170million. 70percent of nigerians are poor, which means 110million nigerians are poor, while we have more than 40million milionaires. despite destroying nigeria as claim by APC, PDP were able to produce more than 20million millionaires in 16years, which means that PDP were able to create morethan 1million millionaires annually, while APC have not just fail to produce 20 thousand millionaires in more than a year into their administration, but succeeded in making nigerians to become more poorer, more than 300 companies close shop, more than one million people lose their job and still counting.
The claim that fall in oil price is responsible for their inability to perform is not true, because they only expected to get 820billion naira from oil revenue in a budget of 6.8trillion, which is less than 20percent of the total budget. how can some one blame his inability to perform becouse he fail to generate 10 percent of the budget even as oil is still sellling above the benchmark?
The truth is that APC government lack the ability to manage the economy. if what PDP did in 16years is destruction, i think Nigerians will prefer that destruction than the calamity we are currently witnessing under APC. may Allah help Nigerians.

EFFECT OF COSMETICS GOVERNANCE Part1
making nigerians to believe in what is not real, is what I call cosmetics governance.
The hype about the president visit to several countries especially china, where some selfish and praise singers economist Analise the the benefit to derive from currency swap with china, even before signing the agreement, just to cosmeticalize the president visit to china, even when the agreement have not materialize, have contributed to what we are now facing, for just attempting such agreement, Nigerian currency continue to loose value against the dollar as in the case of Zimbabwe currency. Such attempt also rubbish some of the president previous visit to US and other western countries, because the visit to china and the hype about currency swap have make the US and their western allies not to trust Nigerian government, and that also affect the refund of looted funds and assets. the failure of Nigerian government to recover such asset have affected the 2016 budget, because the government were sure of getting such looted fund and assets, but is becoming clearer to the government that getting back such assets might not be as easy as they thought. No thanks to the hype and attempt to make currency swap with china.

Dame Patient (mama peace) vs EFCC
My view on former first lady case with EFCC is very simple, what shes passing through is what all previous and current first ladies or wife of president as we have it now should be passing through. first of all, the office of first lady is not constitutional recognize, they were not contractors, neither did they hold any public office that they should be accuse of stealing public fund.
As for Dame Patient, she was not a public office holder, neither is she a contractor, but she was found to posses milions of dollars and properties worth billions of naira. EFCC should be responsible for explaining to nigerians why they suspect the money to be stolen funds, as they did in other cases like the arms deal. but freezing her account without inviting her even when she is ready to be interrogated, gives room for suspicion. i believe she can posses morethan billion dollars from gift, dough such gift is also a corrupt gift in a reasonable society, but the fact is that all former and current first ladies are guilty of such. A good example is a situation whereby they founded pet project and NGOs while their husband were in office, but immediately after they left office, such pet project could not function well or failed due to lack of fund. reason is becouse either their husband no longer fund the project with public funds or those contractors that fund the project just to get favour from their husbands no longer fund the project.
EFCC should be seen to be fair in fighting corruption, not selective, all our former and current first ladies are guilty of what they are accusing Dame Goodluck Jonathan, they need to explain to us why they suspect the money to be stolen fund, when shes not a public office holder nor a contractor, so that nigerians would know if she do something different from what the former and current first lady have done or are currently doin.
